Aliya is exceedingly pleased that you are interested in studying abroad in order to provide a learning and cultural experience of a lifetime!  By studying abroad you are placing yourself in a vital role in furthering an understanding between differing cultures. 

As serving as an ambassador of change, you'll bring your culture to another family, high school and community.  By sharing your life experiences with others, you will use them as a means of "Bringing Israel and America Together, One Life at a Time", in a fun and creative way.  You would be the primary influence on the life of the host family throughout your stay in the U.S.A. or in Israel. 

• You must be outgoing and like new experiences
• You must have at least a minimum of a 3.0 GPA
• You should have a good knowledge of the language of the Country you desire to study in
• You want to increase your knowledge of that language
• You desire to learn more about your Jewish heritage going to Israel
• You want to help others see your Country from a different perspective

You will be amazed at the influence you will have on adults and your peers! You ask yourself, how is this possible?

  The general media in your respective country is very biased in one direction or another. Most adults receive their information about the world from the media and then share that with their children. When someone meets someone from that Country they have a tremendous amount of respect for the views and thoughts. This is most apparent, especially when it comes from a young person. They feel a young person is less effected by the media and their personal knowledge is from their life experiences and firsthand knowledge of specific situations.
