We truly appreciate your interest in having a high school student come and stay in your home for a school year. We know you are a very giving family and you will reap tremendous rewards from having this young man or young woman share your lives, your family, your community, and your values and culture.You will help mold the future of this individual for their entire life, but more importantly you will help them bring two cultures together. They will bring back experiences and information that will effect their family, their friends, their community and a vast number of people that they will come in contact with their entire lives. 

You wonder how can our family have such a profound effect? The answer is actually fairly simple. The perception they have of your Country comes primarily from two sources. One is their parents, and the other is received from the general media. We know that the media has their own agenda which can be very far from the truth of what is actually happening. By sharing your lives with this student, they will see a different perspective of the entire school year.
